Sutherland Welles Ltd.® Original/Interior Polymerized Tung Oil is a beautiful, durable, and easy to use finish appropriate for a variety of interior finishing projects.
We recommend using the Original/Interior Polymerized Tung Oil Sealer when working with stains, on oily/exotic woods, timber frames or on vertical surfaces where minimal sheen is desired. Wet the wood with odorless mineral spirits. Our polymerized tung oil finishes make the wood look wet. For sheen testing, 4oz Sample sizes of our Original Formula (HIGH) are available for purchase. They can be diluted with odorless mineral spirits to create a small sample board to test for build and sheen. 1 Part Mineral Spirits to 1 Parts Original Formula (HIGH) will make the SEALER.

Our Original/Interior Polymerized Tung Oil Sealer can also be added to any of our Old World Concentrated Stains to lower the color saturation of the stain.
