Sutherland Welles Ltd.® Original/Interior Polymerized Tung Oil Medium Lustre is an excellent choice to obtain a semi-gloss sheen for your interior wood finishing projects.
For most wood species, four coats creates a medium luster finish. Original/Interior Polymerized Tung Oil Medium Lustre contains more tung oil than our low lustre, the amount of tung oil in Original/Interior Polymerized Tung Oil creates the luster, while also offering higher protection.

Wet the wood with odorless mineral spirits. Our polymerized tung oil finishes make the wood look wet. For sheen testing, 4oz Sample sizes of our Original Formula (HIGH) are available for purchase. They can be diluted with odorless mineral spirits to create a small sample board to test for build and sheen. 1 Part Mineral Spirits to 3 Parts Original Formula (HIGH) will make the Medium Lustre.
