Sutherland Welles Ltd.® Di-Citrusol™ is more than a unique, high performance solvent. It is 100% botanical, earth-renewable, non-petroleum, recyclable, safe and easy to use solvent which has the lowest toxicity of any solvent offered on the market today! It replaces petroleum mineral spirits and other noxious, toxic solvents. It has no Global Warming Potential Number, no Ozone Depletion Potential and is therefore exempt from Europe’s carbon tax. It completely biodegrades to form plant nutrients that are naturally recycled, causing no ecological stress. It has a mild citrus scent and when formulated with our Polymerized Tung Oil, a vegetable oil, it creates a totally botanical wood finish.

Di-Citrusol™ can be used in place of any solvent for the specific applications where solvents are required such as cleaning brushes or thinning any Sutherland Welles Ltd.® product.

Note: Rags and any waste material soaked with Citrus Thinner and Di-Citrusol™ are at risk for spontaneous combustion. Handle with care by soaking the rags in water and disposing of them saturated with water or hang to dry thoroughly before disposal. Always dispose of finishing material in compliance with your local community’s recommendations for proper waste handling.
