ORIGINAL POLYMERIZED TUNG OIL  (PRINTABLE PDF)

Our Original Formula Polymerized Tung Oil is the finish of choice when looking for the perfect hand-rubbed look! Our Polymerized Tung Oil has superior bonding to the wood due to the sophisticated polymerization process. The process also enhances the rich sheen characteristic of a Tung Oil finish.

Sutherland Welles Ltd.® has developed the Loc-Lamin ®Wood Finishing System which allows multiple thin coals of Polymerized Tung Oil to be applied with each coat fusing to the previous coat and being firmly bonded to the wood. The finishing process begins with applying two coats of Sealer followed by three or four coats of  Low or Medium Lustre. Maintaining the finish is easy. Simply clean the surface and recoat with a thin application of either Low or Medium Lustre.  Successful finishing requires allowing each coat of oil to not only dry to the touch, but to also chemically cure before progressing to the next coat. Please be sure to read the label directions before using.

Great for furniture, woodwork, and floors! Available in Sealer, Low, Medium and High Lustre (for professional use). We also formulate an Exterior Polymerized Tung Oil with the highest quality UV guard and a mildewcide.

Coverage: Sealer: 150-200 sq.ft/quart or 600-800sq.ft/gallon. Low, Medium or High Lustre: 1000 sq.ft/gallon after two coats of Sealer.
